Overview

Premium Motorhomes is a boutique dealership offering high quality German built motorhomes. We operate a Fiat approved workshop offering both habitation and mechanical services and repairs. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a passion for problem-solving. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of motorhomes both with van cab and fully coach built body, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This is a great opportunity to work in environment away from the pressures of a main dealer and presenting the opportunity to learn other aspects of motorhome maintenance.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the workshop.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, and automotive technology.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Knowledge of FIAT WiTech/Linkentry system preferable but not essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
• A relevant qualification in mechanics or automotive engineering is advantageous.
• A valid driver’s licence is required.
